Bluesky, the decentralized social platform aiming to rival X (formerly Twitter), has rolled out new notification features designed to give users more control over their experience.
What’s New?
Users can now:
- Select specific accounts for notifications by tapping the bell icon—just like X.
- Choose who triggers notifications (everyone, followed accounts, or no one).
- Get alerts for re-posts of their re-posts, likes, and activity from others.
This brings Bluesky’s functionality closer to that of X, making it easier for users to stay updated on relevant activity without feeling overwhelmed.
