Media Nation Introduces Bluesky News Feed

June 20, 2025

Media Nation Adds Bluesky Feed for Quick Updates

Embedded Bluesky Feed Offers Short-Form Commentary

Media Nation is experimenting with a new way to share quick news and commentary. Readers visiting the site on desktop can now find an embedded Bluesky feed in the right-hand column. The feed features shorter updates that don’t require full blog posts.

This move revives a habit the author had back when Twitter was a reliable space for quick thoughts and links. But since Elon Musk took over—turning Twitter into what the author calls “a toxic cesspool” and breaking API support for embedded feeds—Bluesky has become the preferred alternative.

Designed for Desktop Readers

The embedded feed works best for desktop users. Mobile readers will need to scroll down near the bottom of the page to find it. Email subscribers won’t see these updates unless they also follow the author directly on Bluesky.

Fewer Multi-Item Posts, More Real-Time Updates

The addition of the Bluesky feed means fewer long-form posts that bundle multiple small stories. Instead, those bite-sized insights will now appear live in the feed—restoring the kind of real-time sharing once common on early Twitter.

The author encourages readers to join Bluesky to stay informed, promising to keep posts focused and meaningful.
